Beautiful! Nothing like those first days of summer.

...And I can say that, going into the first days of winter (grr), as I'll soon be back in summer!

It is beautiful, spring is everywhere. The air of expectation and suspense is gradually giving way to an abundance of white blossoms on the Hawthorn trees, with some stragglers of Sloe blossom still about, looking as if the countryside was decorated in white trees and bushes whereever one looks. Little lambs, are using their mothers and aunts to play games of 'slide down the grown ups' and the ducks and swans are emerging showing off their young pride and joy cygnets and ducklings. The grass is emerald green, we had so much rain and the lilac season ist between the fading rosie colours towards the white blossom. Young blackbirds are trying out their voices and the trees in the woods, at their most secretive are producing new leaves in a bewildering array of green tones. When the sun shines, in between downpours, it is noticeable just how fast the plants have shot up everywhere, the cowparley of the country walks, the bluebells under the trees, and old mans beard is still travellers joy. Everything smells clean and crisp and looks shiny and new made in spring. What lovely Photographs these are.
